It is no secret that barring the finger of God writing Trump on the wall of my office, I am going to vote alternatively from the two-party box. I have been clear that both political candidates of the two-party tango are simply unacceptable for the Christian who endeavors to live and function according to clear biblical precept. I am well aware that I have friends who are legitimate Bible-believing Christians who are seeing it differently. We will agree to disagree…undoubtedly passionately. I can live with that. The question is, “Why can’t some of you?”
I am not saying that every Trump supporter does what I am about to call out, but I am saying that there are far too many who do. It’s the insinuation and sometimes outright verbalization that I, somehow, am the problem. That if Mr. Trump goes down in defeat that it will be the self-righteous, pharisaical, moral elitists such as myself who will bear the responsibility of the disintegration of America. That we demanded the “perfect” instead of endorsing the “flawed”. That we cloistered ourselves away in our ivory towers of biblical idealism instead of embracing the sensible, down to earth reality of pragmatism. The scene is being set by some that if Mr. Trump loses, it will be due to those pesky #nolesseroftwoevil people who are simply political neophytes that need to get a grip on how the system really works.
Really?
You really think people like me are the problem?
You think it’s a problem to…
…reject situational ethics?
…find a biblical template for voting?
…reject empowering egregiously flawed candidates?
…empower biblically qualified candidates?
…honor God with one’s vote?
…break free from the political pattern we are perpetuating?
…obey God and trust His sovereign plan?
…hold civic leaders to a plumb-line of righteousness?
…start obeying God today and not put it off until another election cycle?
…make candidates earn your vote and not presume your vote?
…pause before empowering a casino and strip joint owner?
…hesitate empowering a person who has exemplified much of what we eschew?
…practice the Scripture of “knowing them by their fruit”?
…cringe at the things he says and act like it’s meaningless?
…encourage people to vote their conscience?
The list could go on, but the point is made.
You think I am the problem?
Hardly…
The complicated sophistry that it takes to justify the Trump candidacy is an illustration of why revival tarries. The ease by which we relinquish our commitment to biblical precept by pinning our false hopes on patronizing political promises is an illustration of our superficiality and need for ease. Why would God take our prayers seriously when we twist His Word so flippantly? Why would the world take our message seriously when we so easily compromise our moral concerns by supporting a moral travesty? The Trump candidacy and the support he enjoys amongst the evangelical leadership elite will be the single greatest factor historians will look back to as to how the Church lost it’s ability to hold the culture morally accountable in the 21st century.
I actually had decided to just keep the old trap shut until after November…until I was told that I was the problem. It may be a foregone conclusion that one of the two major party candidates will be the next president, but if or when that happens it will not be my fault. It will be the fault of those who pulled the lever or pushed the button. It will be the fault of those who decided they understood and trusted American politics better than biblical precept.
I am not the problem…of that I am confident.

August 12, 2016 at 9:10 amThis nation is headed for a long overdue trip to the woodshed, and the upcoming election does not provide an option for averting it. I do believe that God established this nation and He has been behind the greatness of America, but, like Nebuchadnezzar, we’ve looked around and said, “Look at what WE have accomplished.” In the days ahead we must remind ourselves that God is sovereign, and that none of the calamity we see going on around us is enough to bump Him off His throne. Rather, it is a sign that He is indeed Lord of all.

To say that Trump is our only choice now and that if we don’t choose him, we’ve chosen Hillary is a lie. I would have chosen Carly or Cruz or Rubio or Kasick or even Carson. But not this. My God, not this. I think we are reaping already what we, collectively, have sown back in the spring.

All of the inherent problems of this election pale in comparison to the real problem : The constitutional framers’ usurpation of Yahweh’s exclusive election authority, per Deuteronomy 17:15, by which elections were turned over to We the People, the majority of whom, according to Matthew 7:13-14, are in the broad way leading to destruction. Talk about a bad idea!

I’ll be voting for Trump because I believe he knows how this world works better than we who try to live by biblical standards. Mrs, Clinton has little or no respect for our Constitution and is anti-life, and will do all she can to continue on the wreckless path we are now on.

You not voting for the “two-party box” is not the problem and would merely make you a participant in the illusion that there’s some supposed difference between the two parties and that the republicans are the “good” guys, or at least the “better” guys.
What’s the difference between the democrats and the republicans ? Pull out a dime from your pocket and hold it in front of your eyes. The difference is: a little less than that.
The problem is “voting” for anyone to any office to add or subtract from The Almighty’s perfect Laws, Statutes and Judgments. Isn’t that the very purpose of a legislator and presidents, to make laws ?
Moreover, the candidates put before all “voters” from either party (e.g., the Manchurian Candidate type, bi sexual puppet, the Obamanation – as well as the “other presidents” over the last century as well as the vast majority of Congress) are merely running for the positions in MIDDLE MANAGEMENT and are owned and controlled by those wicked ones that will put them there, which is our punishment from The Great I Am for rejecting Him and His Perfect Moral Laws.
And now we can’t figure out how to reverse this deplorable condition we’re in and why we’re standing at the edge of the cliff with BOTH feet on banana peels !

The sooner we all get a grip on this fact and recognize it, the sooner we can all understand the real problems and get to solutions.
“We the People” are the problem and have become exceptionally wicked, albeit not by accident, but the result is the same.
The following is from an article with examples as to how exceptionally wicked AmeriKa has become. It’s a quote from a very well written article that appeared on SilverDoctors a while back (I’ll post the link if someone replies and asks for it) regarding “shocking clues about what America will look like when the next great economic crisis strikes”. From The End of The Article:

“A lot of Americans believe that if we could just elect “the right politicians” or if we could just change our economic system or if we could just fix one particular issue that everything would be right in America again.

The bottom line is, MOST who are for “freedom and liberty” ARE, in reality, FOR THE LIBERTY TO BREAK THE ALMIGHTY’S LAW !
How to fix our nation and become His exceptionally good example to the world once again:
“The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep his commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.” Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14.
By returning to being the exceptional example that produces the fruits of His Laws, Statutes and Judgments, i.e., His Will/Kingdom on earth, headquartered here in the “nation born in a day.”
Then the rest of the world will come to us to learn “The Way” (Acts 24: 14):
“See, I have taught you statutes and judgments just as Yahweh my God commanded me, that you should do thus in the land where you are entering to possess it. So KEEP AND DO THEM, for THAT is your wisdom and your understanding IN THE SIGHT OF the peoples WHO WILL HEAR ALL these statutes and say, ‘Surely, this great nation IS A WISE AND UNDERSTANDING PEOPLE.’ For what great nation is there that has a God so near to it as is Yahweh our God whenever we call on Him? Or what great nation is there that has statutes and judgments AS RIGHTEOUS AS THIS WHOLE LAW which I am setting before you today ? Deuteronomy 4: 5-8 (Emph. added.)
The Almighty told you in His Word that His Laws, Statutes and Judgments are perfect and “Thou shalt not add or subtract therefrom.”
Yet, the majority of the “Constitutionalists” (most of which haven’t even read it, let alone understand it) that are for “Liberty” and “Freedom” (and want no phony candidates) want to return to the god “We The People’s” constitutions that provide for legislative and presidential offices to do just that, i.e., “add or subtract therefrom.” The making of Law is a power that belongs to Him and Him alone!
Here’s the root of the problem:
“We The People” were deceived into believing they should be god (sovereign) and decide what is to be the supreme law of the land via representational legislation (law making), e.g.,”A Republic, if you can keep it.”
The legislative process provided by the various federal and state constitutions was the vehicle used for the enemy to corrupt over time (via gradual increments) and finally take over.
Now, the state is the god of most, knowingly or unknowingly, and the “god” the state is controlled by His and our enemies, promoted by “wolves in sheep’s clothing”.
This nation wanted to determine what was to be “good and evil”, instead of enforcing His Perfect Moral Laws.
Malim in se (evil in and of itself as defined by The Great I Am, the ONLY lawgiver) vs. malim prohibitum (evil because someone determines, or legislates, it to be evil).
The Almighty has a MUCH better offer:
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, And I will give you rest. Take My yoke (i.e., His Law 1 John 5: 2 & 3, as well as His tithe [tax] system) upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and ‘YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.’ (Jer. 6: 16). My yoke is easy, and My load is light.” Matthew 11: 28 – 30.
He told us that if His people ” … shall humble themselves (e.g., quit thinking we’re the sovereign, take our proper place and quit usurping His), and pray, and seek my face (e.g., He’s to be the ONLY law giver), and turn from their wicked ways (e.g., enforce His Laws, Statutes and Judgments); THEN will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
The only way to save this nation is to turn back to Him, His Perfect Moral Laws, Statutes and Judgments, i.e., His Kingdom/Will On Earth. Seek Him while He may yet be found.
Look around, His Judgments are happening before your eyes !
